7:45am at the 29 Pines sno-park/29 Pines campground, ready to go at 8:00am. If you have a sno-park permit, bring it. The WA state sno-park website says you don't need one but just in case...
- Directions: 6 miles east of Cle Elum. Highway 97 north to North Fork Teanaway Road north to end of plowing.

- No toilets at the sno-park!
We'll follow the Jungle Creek road 9701 to Liars Prairie then head for the summit of Teanaway Butte. Goal is to get in some conditioning, enjoy the predicted sunshine and have a nice lunch break at / near the summit. We will retrace our steps to return to the 29 Pines sno-park. This route is a long flat approach with a short steeper climb up the butte.

- Group will need someone to bring at least 1 snow shovel
