7:00 AM at Preston Park N' Ride, North side of I-90 Exit 22
Let's try again. This was cancelled due to closure of all Passes at the same time. How common is that! Meeting place (7 miles east of Issaquah on I-90): Take exit #22 off I-90, turn left over I-90, parking lot is to your left next to the freeway. We will consolidate carpools here. Drive time to trailhead should be less be than 2 hrs. Sno-Park permit is required for trailhead at Blewitt Pass. Swauk Pass is the old name for the now Blewitt Pass on HWY 97, 4100 ft elevation. The snow is usually dryer there, good for snowshoeing. We will go up to Diamond Head 6000+ ft elevation, about 6 miles round trip. This can be fun if the weather cooperates.
