We usually do a lollypop loop up near the lake which has a steep slope where an ice axe is useful, so please remember to bring it. Also bring shovels if you have them. This route is generally a safe area even in high avalanche danger.
DO NOT bother to sign up for this trip if you want to watch the Super Bowl! This trip is for non-football lovers only!
Let's meet at 9:00am at the Monroe Starbucks which is on the north side of highway 2 across from the tall smokestack, in the same shopping area with the GNC and the Strand's. (There are TWO Starbucks so don't go to the wrong one!)
