We will cross the river on the bridge and head up the road towards the Cooper river/Polallie ridge trailheads. Depending on conditions we may go partway up the Polallie ridge trail, which switchbacks up a series of benches in open forest with territorial views.  Other options include exploring the area towards Waptus river.
