Intermediate Snowshoe - Panorama Point

Initially reserved for Tacoma Intermediate Snowshoeing students who need a trip to graduate. Springtime snowshoe trip to circumnavigate the area around Paradise via Panarama Point, Skyline Trail and 4th Crossing.

  • Moderate/Strenuous
  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 6.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 2,200 ft
  • Pace: Steady pace. Will have time for taking pictures and a lunch break.

We'll meet at the main Paradise parking lot at 9am, right in front of the "tunnel" entrance to the restrooms. It takes approximately 1 hour to drive from the main park entrance to Paradise, so please ensure that you're entering the park early enough to reach Paradise, find a parking spot, get geared up, and get to our meeting spot by 9am. Thanks for being on time!

We will travel clockwise from Paradise Visitor Center  to Panarama Point, follow the Skyline Trail, come down from Mazama Ridge at 4th Crossing and return via Paradise Valley Route.

We'll trek at a moderate pace with brief stops to enjoy the views. Participants should have a strong fitness base, given the trip's distance and elevation gain.
