Meet at 7:30 at the South Hill Park and Ride in Puyallup (corner of 104th street and 94th Ave)
Participants need to be at least students in the backcountry snowshoeing courses and have completed the backcountry field trip. Scrambles and above grads are welcome.
Officially we will go the standard winter route to Pan Point and back but, depending on the participants and conditions, we may roughly follow the summer route back toward Slusiskin Falls and down to Fourth Crossing for the return.
Allow the whole day (gates at Longmire are locked at 5:00PM) so we can have an enjoyable day wandering the snow instead of a mad dash.
Weather is forecast to be nice but plan for ???
Contact me via email if there are any questions.
An ice axe and helmet are require. It might not be q bad idea to have crampons if you have them.
