****NOTE****** Trip changed to Sunday due to weather We will all meet up at the Darrington Ranger Station and combine to the 4x4s vehicles. The plan is to drive the west side road to the intersection at 1950' (may have a foot of snow on the road). Snowshoe from that point or drive higher if conditions permit. The stats are ~7 miles and 2300' gain. We will visit the Lookout site and the true summit a bit to the South. With the recent, with need another high clearance 4x4 (10 inches preferred). 1/1/08 update: Scouted access and there is lots of good snow. Was only able to drive the road1.5 miles (700') and I am expecting that the length/gain of the trip will increase some. Plan is now hoping to drive the road to 900' then follow old roads and x-country to the summit. About 3 feet of snow at 2000'.
