Winter scramble / intermediate snowshoe trip, with a focus of identifying animal tracks & sign.

Gold Creek Sno-Park, 8:30am

Trip will have focus of identifying animal tracks & sign. Leader is certified in track & sign identification.

Trip is in partnership with Conservation NW for searching for signs of threatened & endangered species.

We will be stopping during the trip to examine animal tracks & sign, so could be slower overall pace than typical trips of this distance, but should still be able to reach our destination.

The trip will only go to the South Summit of Mt Margaret; not the true summit.

Trip is contingent on acceptable snow, avalanche & driving conditions.

Members need to have an un-groomed Sno-Park Pass (or have a means of getting there, such as carpooling with a household/pod member who does).

Equipment: Snowshoes / Ice Axe / Microspikes (or crampons)
