Drivers will need a National Parks pass and chains.
Annual pilgrimage / overnight snowshoe and exploration on the gorgeous Mazama Ridge. If the snow and weather are good, this will be amazing. If they are not good, we will reschedule :)
More details TBA as the date gets closer. Participants do not need to have the Winter Camping badge, but this should not be your first time backpacking. We can organize some sharing of equipment, but you should also be prepared to be an independent camper (i.e. your own stove, filter, tent, sleeping bag, etc.).
Intermediate Snowshoeing students from past seasons are welcome if they completed all their field trips. This outing is NOT open to 2023 Intermediate Snowshoe students unless they have one of the other qualifying badges (Scrambling, Winter Camping, etc.).
