This is a very flexible outing. The intent is to drive to Paradise and wander up from the parking lot with the destination being whatever the slowest person can handle. It could end up being a short trip to Alta Vista or as far as Pan Point if people and conditions allow. I would suspect we wouldn't go beyond and it could just be wandering around the edges of the parking lot if we're not quite up to epics this early into the season. If the gate doesn't open at Longmire, we'll do some sort of trip out of there. The key is getting out for some exercise gorgeous sights and good company. I would suspect that you should have gone through snowshoe1, snowshoe lite or whatever term just for some background. Children over 10 are welcome with parent. Mt Rainier fees apply. Drivers should have chains and a shovel. I am best contacted by e-mail, remlec@yahoo.com
