Meet at 9:00 AM at Heather Meadows parking lot at Mt. Baker Ski Area. Participants are encouraged to carpool.
Due to a change in course scheduling, this trip previously open only to Backcountry Snowshoe Skills students is now open to all participants who have completed the trip requisites (Backcountry Snowshoe Skills, Alpine Scrambling, and/or Basic climb graduates + Backcountry Snowshoe Skills students who have already completed field training.) It will operate as a regular trip at a petite leader's moderate pace (which may be slow to some, and perfectly paced for others.)
One assistant leader mentorship slot is held for experienced snowshoers interested in becoming snowshoe trip leaders. Please contact SuJ'n before registering as an assistant leader.
All snowshoe trips are subject to change or cancel pending current conditions.
