Everyone should bring ice axes and traction devices (e.g. Microspikes or instep crampons). Although it's still early winter, the snow conditions on this route can be icy in spots. The total trip length is about 8 miles, with 2600' of elevation gain. As with all winter trips, considerable avalanche hazard or poor weather may require cancellation.
