7:15 AM at Preston/Fall City Exit 22, I-90; Turn left over I-90. Another left into the Park-n-Ride.
Although different from the info in the Snowshoe Routes Washington book, the data on trip distance and aggregate ascent elevation shown here were obtained using GPS, Topo and MapSource during one of my trips there. With good visibility and snow, this trip can be spectacular (Stuart Range, The Enchantments, Rainier, Cascades, Trosen/Haney Meadows). We will rearrange carpools at meeting place as necessary. Drive time to Blewett Pass is about 2 hrs. Sno-parks on both sides of the pass; sno-park permit required.
