7:30 AM at Issaquah Transit Center
The plan is to head up the PCT from Snoqualmie Pass towards Red Pass. You can view the avalanche forcast at http://www.nwac.us/forecast/avalanche/current/zone/3/. We'll evalulate conditions the night before and may change to an alternate destination or stop short of Red Pass, depending on the forecast and actual conditions. In any case, we'll meet inside the Issquah Transit Center parking garage on the first floor in the Northeast corner at 7:30 AM and head to a destination in the I-90 area. GEAR: - ICE AXE - Snowshoes, gaiters, etc . - Winter 10 essentials. - Avalanche Beacon is optional but always recommended. - Shovel and/or probe are optional, but we should have 4 of each for the group.
