9:00 AM at Cabin Creek Sno Park
This is essentially a long road walk to the summit of Amabilis Mountain. We will try some cross country travel off-road if conditions permit. It's a great view from the top if the weather is clear (Snoqualmie Pass peaks + central Cascades--Summit Chief, Overcoat, Lemah, etc.). We will park at the Cabin Creek Sno Park (exit 63), but assemble as a group at the trailhead. To reach the trailhead, park at the Sno Park then walk across the bridge over the freeway. There will be a large snow berm at the end of the bridge. Let's assemble as a group at the trail (or road) head just over that berm. Total mileage = 9 miles. Elevation gain = 2000'
