The Tooth/Southwest Face

Trip

Intermediate Alpine Climb - The Tooth/Southwest Face

Intermediate rock climb on The Tooth.

  • Intermediate Rock Climb
  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 5.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 2,600 ft

I have not climbed this route before but from the trip reports it sounds like it is sometimes difficult to place pro where you want it.  There are a number of variations rated from 5.7 to 5.9, and apparently, it is easy to get off route, so it is important to study the route beta in advance.

Meet at Alpental  parking lot ready to go at 6:30am
