Intermediate Alpine Climb - The Fang/The Edge of Time Arete
Come join me on the best (in my opinion) bolted alpine climb in the Snoqualmie Pass region! It has sustained high-quality 5.9+ climbing in an incredible position above Great Scott Bowl.

When requesting leader's permission, please answer the following questions:
- Describe your most recent experience swapping leads on a multipitch alpine climb. How comfortable were you with the climbing? How comfortable were you with rope skills, including rappelling?
- Describe your experience leading 5.10 routes (in any setting). The crux of this climb is 10a, and there is sustained 5.9+ climbing with bolts at or below your feet. It is safely bolted but the 10a climbing is mandatory.
- Describe your aerobic fitness. Are you comfortable on an unstable boulderfield with a heavy pack? The approach is a bit chossier than the Tooth.
- Do you belay with an assisted-braking device when alpine climbing?
We will start early the morning of the climb from the Snow Lake TH. Carpooling and eact start time will be coordinated by email prior to the climb.
