Note: This is a midweek trip.

A classic climb on a striking ridge in the heart of the Core Enchantments, the West Ridge of Prusik Peak offers four pitches of moderate but exposed climbing with a 5.7 friction slab crux. Participants should have some alpine climbing and multi-day backpacking experience. Please describe both, as well as your current-season conditioning, when requesting leader permission.

A two-night camping permit at Snow Lakes has been secured through the permit lottery (Yay!). Each participant's share will be $16.

Day 1: Hike into camp at Snow Lakes

Day 2: Prusik Peak summit attempt and enjoy the Core Enchantments

Day 3: Break camp, hike out and back home at a reasonable hour

Details to be discussed via email.
