Intermediate Alpine Climb - Mount Rainier/Kautz Glacier

Two-day carry-over climb on the Kautz (down the DC). Wilson approach if feasible or Comet Falls.

Paradise 6:30AM, if Wilson approach; or Comet Falls TH 6:30AM, if Comet Falls approach.

If you're requesting leaders permission, please describe your fitness plans leading up to the climb and your ice climbing experience.  I may get the group out for some lower-altitude suffering like a double Mailbox ahead of time.

Expect a strenuous first day to lug gear up to camp and then a long walk downhill on the second day.

Pending permits, of course.
