Proposed itinerary:

  • Day 1 hike to camp beyond red ledges SW of Arts Knoll.  Optionally climb Magic Mountain & Hurry Up peaks on the way there.
  • Day 2 climb Formidable via S Route ledges, return to camp.
  • Day 3 climb Arts Knoll and hike out.  Optionally can do Magic & Hurry Up peaks on last day
  • Day 4 optional for bad weather

Early start (7am?) from Cascade Pass TH  (recommend camping nearby the night before)
