Meet and assemble at the McClellan Butte trailhead at 6:45 AM geared up for a quick meet-n-greet and be on the trail by 7 AM
The objectives for the climb are:
- Have fun and enjoy each other's company.
- Make for the summit, conditions permitting.
- Return to the trailhead safe and sound.
On this trip we expect to move continuously as a group at a moderately steady pace with at least one 5 minute rest break every hour/1,000 feet of elevation gain until we reach our destination where we'll have a 15-20 minute rest break for lunch, before returning to the trailhead.
Leader will provide access to a trip planning document for the confirmed roster and those on the waitlist for group gear assignments.
A "Welcome Climbers" confirming email will be issued to the roster no less than 72 hours before the activity with finalized details.
