6:00a at trailhead.

Participants must be confident 5.8 trad rock climbers.  This must not be your first intermediate climb - find an easier objective  like Liberty Bell first. Consensus grade for the S. Buttress is 5.8 (not sure why it's listed as 5.6).

Leader permission required. Please email me  other alpine climbs you have recently done at similar grade, and who your intermediate mentor is/was.

Weather is looking like hot garbage - cold and precip forecast, but I will be in the Winthrop area regardless Thurs eve - Sun afternoon.  Plan B, if interested, will be to crag/sport climb in the Mazama area; hundreds of quality routes there.
