A beautiful weekend climb up Colchuck Peak, with Ski Approach/ Descent.

To be coordinated among climbing team.

Backcountry ski approach and return required- no snowshoes.  Splitboarders normally welcome, but the return from Colchuck Lake is gradual and not well suited for that mode of travel.  Should not be your first ice climb.  AIARE training required.

Leaders permission to discuss ice trips/ routes, skiing ability and experience.

  • Climbing harness
