Intermediate Alpine Climb - Chair Peak/Northeast Buttress (winter)

Midweek climb of a popular moderate ice climb

  • Challenging

4:30 am, Eastgate P&R, E side of lot, outside parking structure (under the 142nd st overpass)

This will be a one-day climb!

This is a challenging but moderate mixed route.  Participants should be mentally prepared for exposure and likely runout between suboptimal pro placements.  The crux can have a short section of vertical ice.

Please be *flexible*.  The climb is posted for Mon-Tue and we'd pick the better day.   Or possibly *any* day that week.  Midweek is best to avoid crowds when the route is in.
