We will spend two weeks hiking through some beautiful and historic scenery of England. We’ll stay in the charming villages of Ambleside and Keswick. The leaders, Bev Dahlin and Steve Johnson, have been leading European mountain trips since 1990. After an overnight flight to Manchester, England, we will meet in the morning and transfer to the Lakes District with its quaint villages and beautiful lakes and mountains. We’ll spend a week in Ambleside amongst the fells and dales which offer numerous hiking trails for all skill levels before transferring to Keswick to the north for more explorations. We will hike in places with names such as Wansfell Pike, Helvellyn, Fairfield Horseshoe, Langdale Fells, Skelwith Bridge, Castlerigg, Cat Bells and Skiddaw. The trip will end back in Manchester. Those wishing to continue discovering Europe afterwards will be able to make arrangements before leaving Seattle
