We will travel over spectacular terrain from Bow Lake, Alberta to Field BC Via the Bow hut and the Stanley Mitchell hut with a 1 night camp on the Des Poilus Glacier. The plan is to meet at the Lake Louise Alpine Club of Canada Hostel on the evening of April 9th. On April 10 ski into the Bow hut and take a few runs on the Wapta Icefield. April 11th ski to the summit of Mount Gordon One of the most scenic ski ascents on the Wapta. April 12th ski to the Glacier Des Poilus and camp. The 13th through the 15th we will stay in the Stanley Mitchel Hut - this is where CMH started its operation. There are many great runs in the vicinity. Ski out on the 16th and drive home on the 17th.
