We will determine the exact starting time closer to the date, but it'll be sometime around 4 AM at the trail head. The plan is to camp at the TH Wednesday night, leave a car at the cascade pass, and start early.

Pre-Requisites: This is a LONG day. This should not be your first 5K+ gain day of the season. You are welcome to sign up for the climb or the waitlist if you have done other 5K days this season. Please send manishap@live.com your most recent climbs/scrambles that had 5K+ gain in a day, with their dates, and leader names if they were Mounties events. We will have a moderate but steady pace and take short breaks. week of the climb, the spots from those that haven't sent the above details will be given to those on the waitlist that have sent the details.

- Mountain boots that can accept crampons (not hiking boots)
- Crampons
- An ice axe (not technical ice tools)
- A sleeping bag rated to +20 degrees or colder
- A sleeping pad
- A back pack (40 to 60 liters)
- Webbing and accessory cords
- 6 straight gate carabiners
- 2 locking carabiners
- Large pear-shaped carabiner
- Belay device
- Climbing harness
- Helmet
- Rescue pulley
- Fleece or puffy jacket
- Rain jacket and full-zip rain pants
