car camp

we will car camp for an early start.

we will do this as a day trip.  since the road is closed about 1.5 from the end, there will be additional length to a physically demanding trip - estimate 14 miles and 7000' gain.

this will be a really fun trip, this is far more ambitious than the typical climb.   if you enjoy being with people and you are super fit, this will be great.   but for you to have a good time, you need to be in extremely good shape.  to do this trip, you need to have recently done a trip with at least 7000' gain.  if after looking over this trip, you want to join, send me a detailed climbing resume along realistic info about your recent conditioning.

leader permission only

* for all our climbs, if we do not change its date or destination (both possibilities are always on the table), one important note to make clear - we are very pragmatic with regard to weather. if the forecast is not favorable, we will either change destinations at the last minute or cancel the trip.
