We will meet at White River Campground at the overnight parking area at 6:00 AM on Friday July 22

We will camp either at Camp Schurman or Emmons flats depending on permit availability. Each climber will need to purchase a Mt. Rainier climber's permit for their own personal use. The fee for a climbing pass is $46/person if you are 25 years or older and $32/person if you ave 24 years old or younger per calendar year. Depending on weather, we will climb starting early Saturday morning then stay at camp Saturday night before descending on Sunday. We will stick to a moderate pace but this route is particularly strenuous because it is a longer approach with more elevation gain, so it's essential that participants be in good shape.
