7:00 AM Hoh river Trailhead.

Scheduled 4 days to allow for weather or rest as needed. Day 1 we will travel to Glacier Meadows to camp. Day 2/3 we will make our summit attempt and then return to Glacier Meadows for the night. Day 3/4 we will return to the trailhead. There is a $15 fee to cover the cost of campsite reservations at Glacier Meadows.

Priority will be given to Tacoma Basic Climbing students and Rope Leads until June 12.

  • Mountain boots that can accept crampons (not hiking boots)

  • An ice axe (not technical ice tools)
  • A sleeping bag rated to +20 degrees or colder
  • A sleeping pad
  • A back pack (40 to 60 liters)
  • Webbing and accessory cords
  • 6 straight gate carabiners
  • 2 locking carabiners
  • Large pear-shaped carabiner
  • Belay device
  • Climbing harness
  • Helmet
  • Rescue pulley
  • Fleece or puffy jacket
