Basic Glacier Climb - Little Tahoma/East Shoulder

This is a TWO day Basic Glacier climb STARTS on June 13 and ENDS on June 14. Preference given to Tacoma Basic Students until June 6th

TBD. Details will be provided once group is established.   Carpool arrangements and locations will be set up prior to climb.  

Two day long and strenuous climb.  Must be in good physical condition. Reserved for Tacoma Basic Students that have passed their Hard Snow and Crevasse Rescue field trip prior to the climb. 

This climb starts on June 13th and ends on June 14.  

There is a mandatory climbing permit that must be purchased prior to the climb date.  The fee is $47.00 and purchased through Mount Rainier National Park.   Once obtained need to have on person during the two day climb.
