Frontcountry Trail Run - Sage Hills to Horse Lake

Annual favorite to escape the rain & the gray west of the Cascades.

  • Moderate
  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 17.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 4,000 ft
  • High Point Elevation: 2,900 ft

These are highly buffed out, hardpacked, multi-use trails and not considered technical. Weekend usage is typically pretty high during the Spring when wildflowers start to show, so appropriate trail courtesy is an expectation.

There is no water in this zone so plan your hydration needs accordingly.

Further details to be discussed in team planning emails.

Horse Lake Trailhead at 0900.
