Longer, but easy going trail run intended for ski tourer's getting in shape for ski season. However all are welcome. Route starts with a little hill, which we will walk up. Then the next mile and half are flatish so we will jog along to get nicely warmed up, we then climb 900+ feet in a mile and a half with some rolls, walking or jogging -- we will regroup at all trail intersections and tops of hills.
The return portion will use the Clay hole trail for much of the descent -- this trail is an old road, so a bit wider, so may be slightly easier to descend -- but with the goal of preseving knee cartalige, the trip leader will continue a modest pace on the descent.
