Meet at Counterbalance Park (Queen Ave N and Roy St) at 8:30am.
A morning walk exploring Queen Anne's parks and gardens, with mysterious names like Wolf Creek Ravine, Hills of Eternity Cemetery, and Bhy Kracke Park. If the weather is nice, we will have gorgeous views from Kerry Park and Kinnear Park. We could also take a short break for coffee and pastry (at 8 miles and 1,700ft elevation gain, we will earn our pastry!), and we'll be done in time for lunch.
The hike will go rain or shine, but we might reconsider if the weather is truly horrendous. A map will be sent to participants a few days ahead of time. The pace will be moderate, 2-2.5 mph.
