On this 5.3 mile hike, we will travel through old growth forest, marshes and bogs. We might see some spring flowers starting to bloom, a “cave” and a water fall. We will meet at the trailhead and head up the Whittaker Wilderness Peak Trail to the summit of Wilderness Peak. As we continue on the loop, we will take a side loop at Shy Bear pass where we should be able see Doughty Falls, a small but picturesque water fall.

No pass is needed for this hike.
