We will begin hiking at the Mud Mountain Dam Park trailhead, where excellent restrooms are available. We will follow the Rim Trail for four miles to a scenic overlook of the White River Canyon, where we'll have lunch and then return. Elevation gain is minimal. Salmonberries along the trail may be ripe. After the hike, we can take a short stroll to an overlook of Mud Mountain Dam.
