9:30 AM at Enumclaw Ranger Station
This is a close-in, mostly level, 8 mile round trip hike through old growth forest along the bluff above the White River. There are a few muddy places on the trail. We'll have lunch at a scenic viewpoint. There are very nice restrooms at the trailhead parking lot. After the hike, a short optional stroll can be taken to an overlook of Mud Mountain Dam. Map is GT 237, Enumclaw. No pass required.
