This is a Naturalist Study Group trip. If trip does not fill by April 18, it will be open to others with leader permission.

Wildflowers, birds, butterflies, wildlife and views will hopefully be out in abundance! We will take a fairly leisurely pace, stopping to identify whatever flora and fauna we find of interest. This should be an excellent trip to enjoy Eastern Washington at its finest!

It could be very warm, or cool and/or windy, so be sure to bring backpack with clothing to deal with the weather. Bring water and a lunch. Though we will be moving at a slower pace, the trail does gain some altitude (1710 ft), so you need to be in good enough shape to handle the climb up and descent down.

Bring binoculars.

If you have a copy of Sagebrush Country-A Wildflower Sanctuary by Ronald J Taylor, bring it. If not, pack your favorite flower and/or bird field guide.
