Day Hike - Westberg Trail

An incredible wildflower hike with balsamroot, lupine, bitterroot, paintbrush, and more. And excellent views of the Kittitas Valley and Stuart Range. Truly a must-do spring hike!

9:30am, Love's gas station/truck stop in Ellensburg, I-90 exit 106

This is a popular hike on Manastash Ridge near Ellensburg  to a big viewpoint of the Kittitas Valley and Stuart Range. There are actually multiple trails all with their own beauty, so we will hike up one and down another to do a loop. There are some pretty steep sections of the trail so keep that in mind. But be ready for some great balsamroot, bitterroot, lupine, paintbrush, and more! Plus, we will have a splendid view of the Kittitas Valley, Naneum Ridge, and the Stuart Range.
