Westberg Trail

Day Hike - Westberg Trail

There are actually multiple trails to the top, both in forest or the open. We will hike up one trail and down another to make a loop. Spectacular views of Kittitas Valley and Stuart Range, with a good chance to see deer.

10:30am McDonalds parking lot, 1304 Canyon Road.

The Westberg Memorial on Manastash Ridge has several trails that lead to the top. We'll hike up a trail and down a different one to make a loop. Most of the trails have some pretty steep sections we'll encounter. Great chance to see deer; I encountered a total of 20 on my last hike here. Grand view of the Kittitas Valley and the Stuart Range.

Hike subject to cancellation if the weather is poor, as I will lead this hike again when the flowers are out in May as part of my awesome Yakima Canyon Wildflower Hikes series.
