Day Hike - West Tiger Mountain Railroad Grade

Winter Conditioning Hike. Open to all Mountaineers members. We'll take the "back way" to Poo Poo Point at a relatively good clip.

9:00 at the High Point Trailhead, exit 20 off of I-90.  Discover Pass needed.  

This hike is part of the Winter Conditioning Hike Series hosted by the Foothills branch. It is not part of a course or program. Like any other open hike, it is open to all Mountaineers members.

We will move at a good pace, moderate plus, taking the Nook Trail to the Section Line Trail to Railroad Grade Trail to Poo Poo Point.  We will stay together, though, and have time for lunch if the weather cooperates.  Poles and traction might be necessary and will be determined closer to the trip. Trip will be 7-8 miles and include the unmaintained, steep portion of the Section Line Trail.   1600 feet of elevation gain
