Meeting time 5:30pm.

Meet at the parking area outside the gate along the access road. Take I-90 to exit 20, turn right off the ramp, and right on to the access road. Park just before the entry gate. They close the gate at sunset and you don't want to get locked in. Please be on-time.

Parking outside the gate does not require a Discover Pass.

This is primarily a conditioning hike for participants of the scramble course but anyone is invited to come along  who has a good fitness base and can handle the 2,100 feet of  elevation gain in 2 to 3 miles wearing a pack of gear. Exact route to be determined and will be dependent on current conditions, but possibilities will include West Tiger 3 Trail, Section Line Trail and/or Cable Line Trail. Please bring trekking poles and microspikes in addition to the 10 essentials.

A group email will go out the day before the hike for anyone wanting to organize carpooling.
