Day Hike - West Tiger Mountain No. 1

Winter conditioning hike to Tiger 1 from HighSchool Trailhead. 9 mi round trip and 2900 ft gain.

7:45 am for carpool at Tibbets P&R. Limited parking available at the trailhead.

We will start the hike at the High SchoolTrailhead and hike to West Tiger 1 peak.

This is a conditioning hike so participants should be in good condition, as we will hike on a steep grade at a conditioning pace (2 mph) with few rest stops.  Please do not sign up for this hike if you haven't hiked at this pace comfortably in the recent past.

We will hike rain or shine, so good raingear, non-cotton layers, warm hat and gloves, and sturdy waterproof footwear with grippy soles are required.
