West Tiger Mountain 1-2-3


Day Hike - West Tiger Mountain 2 & 3

An almost completely Cable Line-less trip up Tiger 2 and 3. All the elevation and a better trail to boot. Priority for youth club parents and volunteers.

We will meet at the Cable Line trail head at 830 AM.  Please consider carpooling.

Leader's permission is required.  State your volunteer activities with the Mountaineer's youth club and family activities when you ask for permission.

This hike is another conditioner for youth club parents and volunteers.  A chance to maintain (or build) fitness through the winter months.  Plus, it's a chance to socialize a bit.  Registration will open to all a couple weeks prior to the trip date.

From the trail head we follow Cable Line for about 500' of elevation gain.  We then split left of Cable Line onto a more pleasant trail to Tiger 2.  Will return from Tiger 2 via Tiger 3 then the Tiger 3 trail, which roughly parallels Cable Line, but is not as steep.

We will average around 2 mph.  A bit slower going up.  A bit faster going down.
