Winter conditioning loop hike up the Nook & Section Line Trails to West Tigers 3 & 2

10am High Point/Tradition Lake Trailhead. Discover Pass required!

Up Nook Trail to the Talus Rocks where we will visit a garden of giant boulders and a dark cave! Bring a flashlight! We will then hike up the pretty steep Section Line Trail which gains 1400 feet in under 1 mile to the top of West Tiger 3. We will then continue on to West Tiger 2, and hike back the West Tiger RR Grade back to West Tiger 3 Trail to hike down.

We will do this hike rain or shine unless heavy rain is forecasted.

Standard hiking gear including non-cotton clothing, rain jacket, hiking shoes or boots

headlamp or flashlight recommended for cave

Poles recommended for steep section

Microspikes highly recommended if icy
