Winter Conditioning Hike hosted by Foothills Branch but open members of all branches!

West Tiger 3 Trail to Talus Rock Trail, past a tall waterfall and a garden of massive boulders. Up the very steep Section Line Trail, gaining over 800 feet in 1/2 mile (similar grade to Mailbox Peak). Along West Tiger RR Grade and up Seattle View Trail to the summit of West Tiger 2. Down the WT2 and Tiger Mountain Trail, then the K3 Trail to reconnect with the TMT which we hike back to trailhead. We will not be visiting West Tiger 3 on this particular hike.

Please be able to hike up to 2.5 mph uphill and 3 mph downhill.

Being winter time, microspikes are strongly advised to be in your pack. Trekking poles also helpful on the steep sections.

If the weather is significantly better on Tuesday or Thursday, hike will be moved accordingly. Either way, hike will be a go unless it is expected to be total downpour of rain.
