8:30 AM at Wallace Falls Trailhead
Meet at 8:30 a.m. at Wallace Falls parking lot. Cool, verdant forests, spectacular cascading waterfalls, and a pristine alpine lake - what's not to love! Come join in the fun on this moderately paced hike located in Wallace Falls State Park. Note that this hike is 10 miles in length rather than than 14 miles, as shown in The Mountaineers database. We will be hiking at a moderate pace, which means being able to travel a minimum of three miles per hour on flat terrain. Please do not register for this activity if you cannot hike at this pace. Directions: From Seattle, take either I-90 or HWY 520 to I-405 North. Continue on I-405 North to HWY 522 East. Take HWY 522 East to Monroe. When you get to Monroe, take a left on HWY 2 East (the highway will circle back before you turn left). Continue on HWY 2 East to Goldbar and take a left on 1st street at the small sign for Wallace Falls State park. In .04 miles, turn right on May Creek Road and follow the road to the entrance of the state park, which will be on your left in approximately 1.1 miles.
