This course is part of the Conditioning Hiking Series. Do not sign up for this hike unless you are in this course. Co leader Lizzie Thelen. (7 miles, 1200 ft gain) Wallace Falls is located off of Highway 2, near Gold Bar. The trail climbs gently along Wallace River before turning into switchbacks leading to overlooks of Lower, Middle, and Upper Wallace Falls. The return trip will be partially on an old logging road. Snow is not an issue and over-the-ankle boots are not required. Guidebook: Best Loop Hikes: Washington.
