Day Hike - Union Bay Natural Area (Montlake Fill)

This walk will focus on spring birds. We will look for both residents and migrants, checking both the terrestrial and aquatic habitats around Union Bay. This is a naturalist hike, and the pace will be slow, looking for birds and other fun things in the natural environment.

Meet at 7:30 AM at the parking lot just east of the UW Center for Urban Horticulture.  We will walk the trails and see what we can find. We should finish between 11 AM and Noon. It all depends on how much we find. 

Bring binoculars.

The restrooms at the visitor center are NOT open. Plan ahead.
