Cherry Blossom time is magic on the UW campus and in the surrounding neighborhoods when spring is in full swing.  Days are longer and the wildlife is exploding every where we walk.  This urban adventure night hike catches birds looking to nest for the evening and may tempt us with a grand sunset over Lake Washington.  Our trip though the UW campus brings us to the Quad, a great site for photos and a flowering canopy.

Night hikes call for head lamps and reflective clothing.  Some of the hike is in Seattle Stairway Walks (2013).  Seattle Walks (2017) also contains rich descriptions of the Union Bay Natural Area.
